to be - aristocracy
to have - nouveau richesse
to know - bourgeoisie
to be able to - working class

The logical conclusion:
to be = ontology, an aristocratic philosophic idiom
to have = capitalism, a mercantile notion
to know = to know even better (than others), a distinct bourgeois skill
to be able to = competency; do it right, or be fired. The labourer's pasttime.
